Jon Wadsworth – Vice President for Advocacy and Outreach
Jon is ACCCE’s vice president for advocacy and outreach, overseeing conception and execution of national and state grassroots activities and ACCCE’s national field outreach programs, as well as helping to develop the strategic planning to advance ACCCE’s overall mission.
Jon has a vast array of experiences and accomplishments in the political arena, advising and coordinating campaigns at the local, state and national level. Jon began his career as a media consultant, creating broadcast messaging for campaigns across the country, and has held senior level positions in firms consulting for advocacy organizations and corporate interests. Jon has conducted media training for congressional staff, and served as political commentator for radio and television. Also, John has been a guest lecturer for the MBA and graduate marketing programs at the Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School.
Jon was born and raised on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., just three blocks from the Rotunda. He graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in mass communications. Jon lives with his wife and two children on Capitol Hill.
