Pat Cavanagh – Vice President for Federal Relations


Pat is vice president for federal relations at ACCCE. He works with ACCCE member companies, federal legislators and key agencies in the administration to develop and promote legislation to ensure that America continues to have the option of using abundant and affordable coal to generate electric power.


He has 14 years of experience on Capitol Hill as a former staffer for Reps. Tim Holden and Mike Doyle, and Sen. Debbie Stabenow. Originally from Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, Pat graduated with a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University.
