Vicky Sullivan – Associate Vice President for Policy Analysis
Vicky is associate vice president for policy analysis at ACCCE. Her responsibilities entail analyzing federal environmental and energy policies and communicating ACCCE’s positions to policymakers. She joined ACCCE in April 2010 after having spent most of her career at Southern Company, where she held positions of increasing responsibility including managing climate strategy, and major air quality and other environmental issues (including an assignment in Southern Company’s Washington office); and economic analysis in the fuel services department. Vicky also served in leadership positions on committees of the Utility Air Regulatory Group and the Edison Electric Institute (where she also served as a loaned executive), was an adviser to the Electric Power Research Institute, and participated in several work groups of EPA’s Clean Air Act advisory committee.
Vicky received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Auburn University, an M.S. in environmental management from Samford University (Birmingham, Ala.) where she also taught environmental risk analysis, and has done postgraduate work in business administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
